Directory-build studio · taking 5 briefs in 2026

I build niche UK directories that pay for themselves.

From data sources you already trust, in three weeks, on your domain. From £750. Same engine that built Commercial EV Installers UK — 1,132 OZEV-authorised firms, 132 town pages, live since May 2026.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from hiring a developer?
A developer builds you a CMS and bills 80 hours. I bring a pipeline that already exists and adapt it to your data. The reason it's £750–£1,500 instead of £8,000 is that 80% of the code is reused.
What data sources can you use?
Any public dataset (gov.uk OGL, ONS, Companies House, sector registers), any CSV/Excel you already own, or a polite scrape of a public source within ToS. I do not buy data and I do not scrape behind logins.
Who owns the output?
You do. Source code, data, and domain. Delivered as a GitHub repo you control. I keep no admin access after handover.
What's not included?
Ongoing content writing, ongoing SEO outreach, paid ads, a logo, and a database backend. The build is a static site by design — faster, cheaper, harder to break.
Why so cheap?
Honest answer: I'm pricing for proof. I want 5 case studies by the end of 2026 more than I want margin. After that the rate goes up. Lock the current rate while it's here.
Refunds?
If at any point before go-live you decide to cancel, I refund the deposit minus any third-party costs incurred (typically £0–£20). After go-live, no refunds — the deliverable is yours.

If you have a list, I can turn it into a directory.

Reply with one paragraph describing what you'd want indexed. I'll come back in 24 hours with a yes, a no, or three clarifying questions.
