An indicative estimate of a commercial /
fleet EV charging install and the grant you could claim. Numbers are public UK
ranges — get itemised quotes before you commit.
Indicative only — not a quote, not financial
advice. WCS: up to £500/socket since 1 Apr 2026 (was £350/socket up to 31 Mar 2026),
≤75% of cost, max 40 sockets, scheme ends 31 Mar 2027. Always confirm on
GOV.UK.
It is an indicative range only, using public grant rates and typical UK price bands. Real cost depends on groundworks, DNO supply and site specifics — always get itemised quotes from OZEV-authorised installers.
What is the Workplace Charging Scheme worth?
Up to £500 per socket since 1 April 2026 (the previous rate was £350 per socket up to 31 March 2026), covering up to 75% of total cost, capped at 40 sockets per applicant. The scheme runs until 31 March 2027.
Can I claim more than one grant?
The Workplace Charging Scheme covers workplace sockets; the 2026 Depot Charging Scheme covers fleet-depot chargepoints and civils. They are not generally stacked on the same sockets — a good installer applies whichever fits your site type. The older EV Infrastructure Grant for Staff and Fleets closed to new applicants on 31 March 2026.
